Kenyans are some of the millions of people waiting for the results of the 2023 Diversity Immigrant Visa Program, which are set to be released on Saturday.

Entrants in the Diversity Immigrant Visa Program, also known as the Green Card Lottery, should check if they were randomly chosen beginning at noon Saturday, May 7, according to the US Department of State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs.

According to the US State Department, the DV-2023 Diversity Visa Program was open from October 6, 2021, until November 9, 2021.

To check out if they were picked, all applicants must use the website’s blue “Check Status” button to enter their unique confirmation information preserved from their DV-2023 entry registration.

“DV-2023 Entrants may enter their confirmation information through the link below starting at noon (EDT) on May 7, 2022. The DV-2023 registration period opens on October 6, 2021, and closes on November 9, 2021. DV-2023 Entrants should keep their confirmation number until at least September 30, 2023,” a statement posted on the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs website reads.

DV-2022 applicants can check the progress of their entrance on the state department website until September 30, 2022.

The DV Lottery lets up to 55,000 persons from historically underserved nations to move to the United states each year.
