‘We failed Kasee the same way we failed Njenga Mswahili,’ Comedian Karis says

Comedian Karis, has become another comedian to mourn Kasee the comedian’s death, as well as address struggles he faced before his untimely death.

Kasee died on Sunday night on his way home and his body was found in Nginduri, Kinoo.

According to the chairman of Comedians in Kenya Society, Ken Waudo, first reports indicate Kasee drank a poisoned drink.

Taking to his Instagram page, Karis feels sorry that they let Kasee down, the same way they did with Njenga Mswahili another comedian who died as a result of depression.

Njenga Mswahili was battling depression before his body was crushed by a train.

Karis, says they were not there for Kasee, but it is not that they assumed but it is because they were battling their own demons.

‘WE FAILED YOU KASEE…WHEN THINGS STARTED GOING ASTRAY WE FAILED BEING THERE FOR YOU..

BUT ITS NOT THAT WE ASSUMED IT BUT BECAUSE WE WERE ALSO FIGHTING OUR OWN DEMONS WE FAILED YOU KASEE THE SAME WAY WE FAILED NJENGA MSWAHILI.” He wrote.

He added,

I REMEMBER VISITING HIM AT MATHARE HOSPITAL THEN AFTER A FEW MONTHS HE IS GONE….R.I.P NOW YOU.’

IT’S JUST SAD I DON’T KNOW WHAT WE CAN DO TO PREVENT ANOTHER PERSON GOING DOWN THAT ROAD …😔😔😔😔.’
