Kenyan musician Willy Paul popularly known as Pozze has reacted to the unveiling of content creator Diana Marua as a rapper.

Speaking to Mungai Eve in a segment on her YouTube channel, Pozze who has been in the music industry for over a decade welcomed Diana on board, confessing that building a name out of music was arduous and requires perseverance.

“I can only tell her this journey is not easy, she can ask Bahati. But if she prays, and works hard God will listen to her.”

Bahati had organized a reveal party at Trade Mark Hotel where his wife Diana Marua was presented as a music artist ready to kick-start her new career and rule the airwaves. The mother of two stated that Diana B will be used as her stage name. She went further and crowned herself as the Queen of African Rap.

Following the reveal party, the songstress went ahead and released her first song dubbed “Hatutaachana” which speaks about her relationship with significant other Bahati.

“Ni Bahati Na Marua
Tamu Kama Halua
Kitu Mungu Amepanga, Nani Atapangua
Thank you for the Love Fam. Keep watching the #HATUTAACHANA video on my YouTube channel.” Diana wrote on her Instagram page.

The song garnered over 200,000 views in seven hours and this made Diana Marua trend at number one on Twitter after premiering the video.

The beats of the song have similarities with that of “Mtaachana Tuu” by Bahati which was released on December 2, 2020.
