Woman With Multiple Husbands Says None Can Dare Cheat on Her – LitKenya

There is nothing special about a man marrying many women, but the reverse, polyandry, is unheard off in the mainly patriarchal society.

However, things are beginning to change with stories of women will multiple husband emerging.

A Ugandan woman has shocked many of her compatriots and beyond the country’s borders by parading her seven husbands.

The traditional doctor, who claims she has powers to raise the dead, told Afrimax English that she married the men at different times.

According to her, elders direct to her the man she should chase and bring home.

“Many people fear me, wondering how I’m able to manage seven husbands. What they don’t know is that it’s the elders who give me permission to go after them,” she said.

The ritualist added that she doesn’t take much time to convince a man to marry her.

“I see them through visions and from there my job is to court and make sure they accept my proposal.”

The woman noted that she has multiple husbands because her gods instructed her to have many children, but she should only get just one child with one man.

The mother of six said she is ready to accept more spouses if the elders agree.

She also remarked the men are loyal to her.

“None of my husbands can dare cheat on me. If one tries or imagines that, I will know,” she said.

The youngest husband said that they live in harmony “because she knows the value of a man”.

The woman provides for all her husbands and in return they do what she wants.
