Xiaomi 12 has alleged leaky camera module with 50 MP sensor – Nairobi Times

Every week more information about the Xiaomi 12 line is revealed. Expected as the first line of smartphones with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip (previously expected as the Snapdragon 898), two publications on the base model reveal camera details for Xiaomi’s new cellphone with three main sensors.

In an image shared by the leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo we see the supposed set of mi 12 lenses, its organization and its elements. Two large lenses are positioned on the left side, while a smaller lens, an LED flash, microphone hole and a second flash are on the right side.

The leaker also reveals that the Xiaomi 12 will feature a 50 MP main sensor, but information about the rest of the lenses has not been released.

It is likely, however, that we will see the same set as the Xiaomi Mi 11: the main lens accompanied by an ultrawide secondary lens and a macro lens without much functionality.

The Xiaomi 12 is expected as the base model of the family, offering high processing performance and great cameras at a more attractive price than the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, which will be the manufacturer’s most powerful phone at its launch.

With the announcement of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 happening in a week, more details on the Xiaomi 12 line are expected to emerge in the coming days.
