4 suspects were arraigned at the Mavoko Law Court for illegally refilling Gas cylinders in Mlolongo

Four suspects were arraigned at the Mavoko Law courts on Wednesday for illegally refilling gas cylinders at a filling plant in Mlolongo, Machakos county.

Abdikalik Mohamed, the director of Green Gas, was charged, along with his colleagues Bidan Ndungu, Abdistar Maalim, and Adankheir Mohammed, with operating a bulk Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) storage facility without a valid license and refilling various gas brands without the consent of companies.

The four were released on a Ksh.100,000 shillings cash bail after pleading not guilty, according to the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

Meanwhile, the lorry that was used in transporting the cylinders has been impounded together with a total of 96 cylinders belonging to other companies.
