Public and private investors have pumped more than 2.3 trillion shillings in affordable housing projects in the country. Housing Principal Secretary Charles Hinga says the projects have managed to deliver more than 200 thousand units in the last five years. Hinga spoke during the inspection of the Bondeni affordable housing project in Nakuru where over 600 units are expected to be completed by December this year.
