Online shops are opening at a high rate but with it  so many demerits among them being unable to deliver what they promised to their customers.

It has been repeatedly suggested that most Kenyans are ‘crooks ‘when it comes to business.

Wanting to make profits even where not necessary.

Here are annoying things Kenyan online stores should stop ASAP.

1-Telling one to Dm for prices

You are an online shop with thousands of followers, if everyone was to Dm for prices how would you even focus providing efficient services?

2-Stealing people’s photos to market yourself

Many online businesses thrive on ‘theft’ .

Eg someone does not know how to bake, they steal a photo from a professional baker and market it as theirs.

You pay for the cake only to cry on the day of the delivery when you see what has been delivered.

3– No active contact

Most people give out numbers they can be reached on but most don’t work.

Others are always busy.

4- Switching off the phone

Some online businesses are very unreliable, so once you have made your payment some switch off their phones or even block you.

When you insist, they deliver sub standard goods.

5. Delivering sub- standard goods

It may be a phone, dress, electronics or even food.

The saddest thing is that some of these people are not even apologetic even when it’s clear they have wronged you.

What’s your worst experience with Kenyan online shops?
