Family did not like Tecra Muigai’s boyfriend

Keroche Empire heads Joseph and Tabitha Karanja never approved the relationship between Tecra Muigai and Omar Lali.

According to sources who knew them, the two were known for partying.

They met later year  when Tecra visited Lamu on holiday.

Word on the street is that the family had been against it.

“Sometime last year, the brother came here and tried to convince her to leave Omar alone as she was being taken advantage off but it didn’t work as Tecra said she loved him,” the source said.

The boyfriend is being held by detectives in Lamu as investigations into the death of Tecra commence.

Tecra was found lying lifeless after falling down the stairs of her cottage in Shela Lamu.

Lamu county commissioner said they were investigations that the lady was in Lamu at the time of her accident.
