Police detectives have reported the death of Weise Klaus Armin, a Deutsch national aged 75, who is said to have had an argument with his wife 38-year-old Rosemary Wangui.

According to the sleuths, the relationship between two lovers in Nyeri ended up in tears.

“On returning to their home in Nyeri’s Muhasibu Estate along Gamerock area, she allegedly found her husband breathing fire, accusing her of infidelity. An argument then ensued forcing her to flee for dear life, after the man allegedly threatened to kill her using a knife,” detectives said.

The argument prompted Armin to lock himself in the bedroom, where his lifeless body was later found.

The police officers from Nyeri later arrived at the scene and broke into the bedroom where they found Armin’s lifeless body hanging from a rope.

Homicide experts took over the matter, and have visited the scene, analysed it forensically, and taken statements from various sources.

The police are now waiting for the deceased’s kin to arrive from Germany for a postmortem on Armin’s body to be conducted in a bid to get to bottom of the matter.

Members of the public who might have any information in connection to the death of Armin have been asked to share it with the police.
