Government adopts technology to contain spread of Coronavirus – KBC

The Ministry of Health has adopted technology as it scales up efforts to contain the possible spread of the Coronavirus.  

A teleconference facility has been installed at the Kenyatta National Hospital that will help Kenyan doctors interact with their counterparts in China on how best to deal with the pandemic.

Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe termed the facility a game changer as the country stares at the anxious two weeks  when Kenya will be able to fully determine the extent of the spread.

Kagwe said the facility will offer real time information for frontline medical workers dealing with the pandemic from the best practices adopted by China that was the first to record the outbreak and has managed to contain it.
