Handshake In Limbo As Uhuru Invites Jubilee Leaders To Statehouse, Raila Not Welcome

President Uhuru Kenyatta has summoned all Jubilee leaders for a crucial meeting tomorrow May 11, 2020 at state house. The president who is the leader of the ruling party Jubilee has through the Party deputy chair David Murathe has asked all Jubilee members to attend the meeting.The meeting comes at a time when Uhuru’s loyalty to Raila is being questioned.

The president has left the opposition chief out of his recent state events. Raila’s allies also attacked the President asking him to resign. Junet Mohammed played centre stage in the scathing attack against the head of state.

The president calls the meeting in the midst of ingoing party wrangles between leaders allied to the Deputy President and the Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju.Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria who has resurfaced today after missing in action for days had earlier on claimed there was a plot to kick out Tuju.

The controversial lawmaker on Wednesday evening, 6th May, took to his social media handles to reveal that the Tanga Tanga team was planning to kick out Tuju.

According to the MP, the ruling party will soon hold its elections and he will become the new secretary-general. Uhuru calling for the meeting might just be the first step in kicking out Tuju.
