Hungarian President Janos Ader will make a four-day state visit to Kenya starting Sunday, 16th January.
According to State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena, the Hungarian leader will be accompanied by First Lady Anita Herczegh.
“His Excellency Janos Ader, President of the Republic of Hungary will arrive in the country on Sunday, 16th January 2022 for a four-day State Visit at the invitation of President Uhuru Kenyatta” said Kanze.
They will be received by their hosts President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta at State House, Nairobi on Monday, 17th January.
Kenya and Hungary have enjoyed warm and strong bilateral ties dating back to 1964 when Hungary established an Embassy in Nairobi.
Ader is currently on a four-day visit to Ghana where he held bilateral talks with his counterpart Nana Akufo-Addo.
The bilateral discussions centered on the expansion of relations in the sectors of trade, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, ICT, financial services, water management and environmental protection.
