Following the revelation of the 4 million share scandal in Kenyan Seed Company by the former management, farmers and seed agents have accused the government of sleeping on the job.
Speaking to the press in Kitale, Job Sang and Eliud Turmoi, said the Jubilee government should wake up from sleeping and act immediately by arresting the culprits with intention to own the giant parastatal through fake shares.
Eliud Tormoi said the cartels who were seeking to control the strategic state cooperation floated in 4 million shares as one way to dilute government shares through Agricultural Development Cooperation so that they can own as the majority shareholder and they are not happy about it as farmers in Rift Valley.
John Sang said whoever is failing to act on the cartels should be investigated for colluding with the same cartels saying if senior government servants were arrested. Why not these one?

They have challenged the Directorate of Criminal Investigation, Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission to show them why action has not been taken.
Nathaniel Tum, his four sons Edwin K Tum, David K Tum, Amos K Tum and Soet Company Ltd associated with his wife among other companies, is said to have looted KSC during president Daniel Moi’s regime and the evidence was tabled before the investigation team.
Tum and his cartels used Moi’s name to reap under Kabarak Ltd. The source says the plan that began in 1998 was rejected but Tum is pushing it through backdoor.
Tum wants his son David who is the director of Simlaw Seeds to take over the Kenya Seed as the managing director so as to cover up the deals that done by his father through dubious ways. If this succeeds, David Tum will shield his father and they may own Kenya Seed as private company due to the stolen share when his father was the managing director.
Tormoi and Sang further said cartels should stop using powerful individual names like former president Daniel Moi, president Uhuru Kenyatta or deputy president William Ruto to steal from public institutions
