Owing a car is dreams come true for many Kenyans but for the elite in Kenya, the focus is on which vehicle they own. 

In this article, Kenyans.co.ke will give you some of the faces behind some of the most expensive vehicles cars which rule Kenyan roads. 

They include politicians like President Uhuru Kenyatta and media celebrities such as Jeff Koinange.

The car is a personal favourite for President Kenyatta who has been spotted driving himself in it in Nairobi a number of times.

It has tremendously capable off-road abilities, while most owners won’t ever use them, they come as standard on every G-Wagon.

To understand why the Mercedes brand is loved by the wealthy, it is important to understand the prestige that comes with owning the vehicle. 

Mercedes-Maybach carries itself as elegantly as it carries its passengers. It’s not merely stretched but artfully sculpted to command the eye as well as the road.

The few Kenyans who are privilleged enough to afford the Mercedes and Maybach cross breed include industrialist and media mogul Chris Kirubi and businessman Ben Kangangi.

Ferrari 

In 2018, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho was spotted riding in a red Ferrari and Kenyans couldn’t keep calm. 

In the video, the governor seemed to be in hurry to pick up a friend.

The sleek cars top speed is 310 km/h and does 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in under four seconds.

Joho has been known by many people for his expensive lifestyle. Many people admire him for his cool taste of things. 

The cost of the vehicles is said to be upwards of Ksh20 million.

Bentley Bentayga 

Despite the launch of the vehicle’s store in Kenya, the remarkable SUV is still a rare gem on Kenyan roads.

Billionaire Chris Kirubi is among the few owners of the special SUV. 

Adding to the list is lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi, and Joho whose networth can afford him any vehicle of his choice.

Roll Royce Phantom

Yes, there is a Rolls Royce Phantom in Kenya, in fact, there is more than one Rolls Royce Phantom in the country.

However, the one that has been spotted on several occasions on our roads is said to be owned by a local prominent Indian businessman. 

The Rolls Royce Phantom is a very stylish car and anybody willing to purchase this vehicle will have to cough up Ksh45 million.

This menacing beast with an opulent interior is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 engine (383 hp, 403 lb-ft of torque) mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
