ODM MPs Mad At Ruto After Outshining Uhuru By Delivering A Speech Off-Head

It has been long since Deputy President William Ruto met. He was a big guest in State House on Madaraka Day. ODM Mps have now criticized him for attempting to humiliate the President. The DP is accused of not reading a speech unlike his boss.

Madaraka Day commemorates the say in 1963 when the Republic of Kenya got it’s independence.

Most of social media users have praised the deputy President for his wonderful speech. These are some of the reactions sampled from Twitter.It was time for his Excellency the Deputy President William Ruto to address the country. Surprisingly, he never disappointed. He addressed the without any written speech. Ruto’s speech without any written document to refer from has made social media platforms wild.

Ruto indicated that no goverment has experienced the kind of challenges Covid-19 has caused to our country. He said that every Kenyan is now part of the big army to deal with coronavirus. He went ahead and indicated that the coronavirus pandemic has made everyone to realize our inadequacy and what the Almighty God can do.
In what appeared to be a charm offensive towards his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta, William Ruto took the opportunity to praise Uhuru’s leadership.

Despite all the party wrangles that have been happening behind the political curtains, William Ruto took his time to praise President Uhuru Kenyatta during the Madaraka Day fete.

“I want to say Mr President that we have confidence in what you have done since we have come a long way. We thank you for mobilising resources to fight the on-going Covid-19 pandemic,” said William Ruto.

He added that leaders across the divide are confident that President Uhuru Kenyatta will lead Kenya in the new normal of living with COVID-19 as part of life.

“This is the new normal and we are sure that you will lead us into this new normal since it is no longer a matter of if,” said William Ruto.

William Ruto urged Kenyans to continue praying for the President and the government amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Finally Mr President, I want to say that Kenyans are praying for you and the government. We know things will get better in the near future,” said Deputy President William Ruto.
