Six people have been burned beyond recognition in an accident that occurred on Saturday, August 21 at around 10am.
The accident occurred at Kaburengu bridge along the Webuye-Eldoret highway.
The six were all in a Probox headed to Malaba from Eldoret which caught fire and burst into flames.
Confirming the unfortunate incident, Bungoma East traffic boss Idris Halkaalno said the accident happened after a tipper which was heading to Malaba from Eldoret carrying marram lost control and hit a saloon car before hitting a pick-up and landing on the Probox that exploded into flames.
Several others who were injured were rushed to Webuye County hospital where they are being treated
