Football world has been plunged into mourning following the death of teenage sensation Joe Aspinall.

The 19-year-old reportedly gave up the ghost right beside his parents, sister and brother who were at his bedside at the Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.

It was gathered he was a member of the Coastal Bend College soccer team in Texas after winning a scholarship to the American university.

His family helped him return home just at the start of the lockdown not long before he started feeling sick.

According to his father Brendan who was a former professional player, late Joe was admitted at the hospital in May, but his condition worsened and he was taken into the intensive care early June before he died days later.
