Wiper Democratic Party on Monday, July 26 announced its withdrawal from the troubled National Super Alliance (NASA).
Speaking to the media at the Wiper Party headquarters in Karen, the party leader Kalonzo Musyoka stated that the party made the decision after lengthy deliberations.
Kalonzo revealed that his party would now be concentrating its efforts on the One Kenya Alliance (OKA). He further stated that Wiper was working in cooperation with Jubilee.
The former Vice President also welcomed the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) to join the coalition. Wiper revealed plans to launch campaigns on Tuesday.
Despite the exit, Kalonzo indicated that he had received a letter from ODM Leader Raila Odinga where the former premier accepted to share the political parties fund.
