COVID-19: Celebs who canceled posh birthday celebrations due to the virus

Different personalities were celebrating their birthday over the weekend.

They however had to settle for small gatherings due to to the coronavirus pandemic.

Being celebrities most of them had most probably  planned for posh parties but that never came to pass.

Below are celebs who had to cancel their birthday plans.

Otile Brown

Otile Brown had to shelve the idea of a parte after parte.

This is majorly because clubs have been closed and people have been advised to self quarantine due to coronavirus.

Sanaipei Tande

The ‘Mfalme wa Mapenzi’ hit maker was turning 35.

Taking to her social media, Sanaipei shared that she was just chilling with her family.

Ciiku Wa Soxxy

Wife to gospel spin master DJ Soxxy had to shelve the idea of celebrating their mum’s 70th birthday.

The birthday which was to be held yesterday was cancelled and they all resorted to calling her to wish her a beautiful day.

Taking to her social media, she wrote,

‘Yesterday was my mum’s 70th birthday.. We had plans to make her day special but had to cancel all the plans from cancelling intl travel to cancelling taking her to Msa to cancelling even just visiting her in Murang’a.

Adding,

‘Because we would rather miss these few days with her and have her for the rest of our lives later…

Yesterday, we all made sure we called her and wished her happy bday..
