Isolated and Alone: How Greed, Corruption, Defiance are stopping Ruto’s reggae

As he set his sights on 2022, we have seen a Ruto personality that is mean and selfish, a character that loathes competition, a character that is hell bent on grabbing power at all costs.  A character that doesn’t entertain any form of dissent.

Kenyans online under the hashtag #RutoIsolated, have noted that unlike in the past, Dr Ruto’s erstwhile noisy supporters have either conspicuously gone silent or are not willing to declare their loyalty to the DP. Most of them now have been seen to support Uhuru’s government agendas, Handshake and BBI.

This comes in the wake of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s purge targeting DP Ruto’s allies holding key positions in the Senate and the National Assembly as differences between the Head of State and his deputy deepen.

A concerned Kenyan claimed that the DP no longer respects the President and had created his own parallel centre of power while at the same time campaigning for 2022 and botching Uhuru’s legacy projects — the big four agenda and the building Bridges Initiative.

Laikipia Woman Rep Cate Waruguru who just like Paul in the Bible has been converted refers to her former boss, DP Ruto as a man who is arrogant, bitter and selfish and that’s why she left his camp for Uhuru’s camp.

Kenyans noted he has brought it all on himself, and that it is because of his abdication that the President has birthed new political forces

Analysts also say the coronavirus could not have come at a worse time for the DP.

Here are more comments on the hashtag that have been trending at the top for the better part of the morning;
