Our client, a well-established company offering bakery services is seeking to fill a role of a Logistics Officer for their bakery in Kitui. The successful candidate will be with overall logistical operations to ensure timely and cost effective delivery of products.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and providing transport logistics for effective distribution
• Ensuring timely delivery of the bakery’s products to the customers
• Ensuring effective commodity management and quality control
• Establish reports based on logistics and distribute them according to the company’s requirement
• Identify training needs for the staff in order to achieve high productivity
• Providing support to logistics staff as requires
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain Management or any related course
• A minimum 3 years’ proven work experience in procurement/production within a busy environment
• High level of integrity and professionalism
